Description

NA NSN 1005-00-726-6131, Part Number 7266131. The item to procure is a Barrel Assembly for the .50 CAL M2 Machine Gun. Overall length, 45.00 inches; rifle bore groove quantity 8: Groove width 0.135 min. 0.140 max. Inside treatment, chromium, QQ-C-320 Class 2 A, Barrel Rifliling. Barrel P/N 7161813; barrel liner P/N 7312560; liner retainer P/N 7312561; Pin P/N 7265157; heat-treating required with plating. Requirements will be a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a guaranteed minimum qu antity of 3,000 each Barrel Assembly. FOB is Origin. Estimated issue date is 2 Sep 2003. Date for responses listed is only an estimate. Solicitation is Full and Open. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal is instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if a vailable), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the in ternet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
