Description

NA SENSOR ASSEMBLY, NSN: 1560-01-137-3519, P/N: 70400-06712-042, Quantity: 100 each, applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. Intended source is Sikorsky Aircraft, 6900 Main St., Stratford, CT. 06615-9129 (CAGE 78286). F.O.B. Origin with delivery to DEF Dist De pot Red River Receiving Bldg. 499, 10th Street & K Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Required delivery is 50 each, 300 DACA. This part must be acquired for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part requires engineer ing source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approve d source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source m ust qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part i n the intended application. This acquisition contains data, which is considered critical technology and has been restricted for release outside the United States. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
