- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army has a requirement to acquire approximately 500 linear feet of 8 foot high chain link fence, coated with black vinyl chloride PVC in the back yard and approximately 60 linear feet o f 6 foot high wooden fence matching the existing wooden fence in the front yard of 2, 4 and 6 kansas street, natick, massachusetts 01760, and the installation thereof. The contractor shall also provide a price for the following option item: Barbed wire - The fence and gate shall have galvanized V arms installed on the top posts and six strands of galvanized wire run along the top of the fence, three on each arm of the V. It shall be manufactured in accordance with ASTM F1665. All strands shall be of two 12.5 gauge steel twisted line wire with 14 gauge four point barb located 5 inches on center and shall be hot dip galvanized conforming to ASTM A 121, Class 2. Offerors shall submit the following: 1. Price for the following CLIN's: 001 - Perimeter fence, 0002, Wooden fence and 0003 barbed wire. 2. Past performance information shall be submitted identifying company names, point of contact and current telephone numbers for all similar types of work in the past two years. 3. Completed copy of the provision for Representations and Certifications o f FAR 52.212-3. The following FAR clauses are incorporated: 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.236-27 Alt 1, 52.211-10, 52.243-12, 252.201-7000, 252.212-7001 A site visit will be held on 26 August at 9:00 AM. All parties are to meet in the lobby of Building 1, Kansas Street, Natick, Massachusetts 01760. The Statement of Work and drawings will be available at the site visit.
