Description: The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the installation of a borehole instrumentation package in the Long Valley Well (LVEW) located in the center of Long Valley Caldera in eastern Califormia. Installation of this borehole instrumentation package represents the fourth and final stage of a concerted international effort. The USGS intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Sondi and Consultants to perform this installation. The USGS believes Sondi and Consultants is uniquely qualified because they possess unique knowledge gained through their previous experience with the LVEW Project. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. All sources who believe they can meet this requirement may submit a capability statement within 15 days from the date of this announcement.
