Description
Amendment #1 is issued to: -------------------------- A) Change the Period of Performance as stated in C.3 of the Performance Work Statement as shown below: The period of performance shall be for the base period of August 15, 2003 through August 14, 2004. The Government reserves the right to exercise from one to four option years for the periods identified below for a total of (60) months: Option Year 1 – August 15, 2004 through August 14, 2005; Option Year 2 – August 15, 2005 through August 14, 2006; Option Year 3 – August 15, 2006 through August 14, 2007; Option Year 4 – August 15, 2007 through August 14, 2008. B) Change the Preventive Maintenance Requirements as stated in C.8 of the Performance Work Statement as shown below: The Contractor shall submit to the contracting officer a written maintenance plan and schedule covering all the procedures used to fulfill the requirements of this contract with the proposal. This includes forms and formats. C) Incorporate the following Evaluation Factors for this requirement: The Government will make award to the contractor who provides the best value and technically acceptable proposal. Technicians must have a minimum 5 years experience operating and repairing, similar type equipment including generators systems, switching equipment, paralleling equipment, auto transfer switch's, and programmable controllers (PLC). Government recommends on-site technical review with COTR. Appointments can be scheduled with Andy Zarkou, (801) 620-6769. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. D) Incorporate the following equipment usage and history: Condition of equipment: good Two (2) North Generators: Age: Approximately 1995-1996, Run Hours 220; Three (3) South Generators: Age: Approximately 1985-1986, Run Hours 1,990; Overhauls: No indication that an overhaul will be required this year; Generators are started and run once per week approximately 15 minutes; Generators are started and put on line monthly for approximately 30 to 60 minutes by current contractor. Contractor will be responsible for diesel engines, generators and switching equipment. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JUL-2003).
