Description

Defense Contract Management Agency intends to award on other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 ?Only One Responsible Source,? with O?PIN Systems Software Products Inc., Eagan MN. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This notice is a combined synopsis & solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. No other solicitation will be issued for this requirement. The contractual document will incorporate the current FAR provisions and clauses. This requirement is for Reveal Software Maintenance effective for the period of October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004. Only O?PIN has a system that can operate in a distribute client server environment for DCMA?s Mechanization of Contract Administration System (MOCAS). The Reveal server generates the MOCAS files via the Mechanization of Reports Distribution System (MORDS) and transmitted electronically to each DCMA Headquarters, District and Contract Management Officer (CMO) user. A firm fixed-priced purchase order is contemplated. The clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5. Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Executive Orders-Commercial Items and DFAR clause 252.212-7001, Contract terms and conditions required to implement statues or Executive Orders applicable, applies to this acquisition.
