- ***MODIFICATION TO CHANGE SECONDARY POINT OF CONTACT ONLY TO: ROXIE MYERS 559-297-0706 EXT. 4831.*** The USDA Forest Service Region 5, Pacific Southwest, intends to do a Streamline Competition Cost Study to perform trail opening, maintenance, construction, and reconstruction activities on 18 National Forests throughout the State of California under Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 (revised May 29, 2003). This A-76 Streamline Competition Cost Study ends September 12, 2003. The incumbent service providers presently doing this work are 97 full time equivalent U. S. Forest Service employees. Persons involved in this competition are the Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) ? Edward McPherson, Agency Tender Official (ATO) ? Bernie Weingardt and Contracting Officer (C.O.) ? Nancy L, Ruggeri. A pre-solicitation meeting is scheduled for August 26, 2003 at a time and location to be determined. This solicitation will be issued August 12, 2003 and will close September 12, 2003. The NAICS code and small business size standard for the Service Contract Act work and the Davis-Bacon Act work are 237990 and $28.5 million. There are no Incumbent Service Provider Contractors for this work.
