Description

The U.S. Marshals Service District of the Virgin Islands seeks a vendor to provide towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of five (5) seized vessels and towing, storage, and disposal of five (5) boat trailers currently located in Puerto Rico: one (1) 33' Fountain vessel, one (1) 33' Monza Go Fast vessel w/trailer, one (1) 42' Sonic Go Fast vessel, one (1) 32' Custom Go Fast vessel w/trailer, one (1) 32' Scorpian Go Fast vessel w/trailer, and two (2) boat trailers for the period October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004. It is the intent of the USMS to award a contract for a base year and two one-year options. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is September 19, 2003. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site: http:www.FedBizOpps.gov. The FedBizOpps website provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
