Description
IFB 10N3-219-03 AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH REPLACEMENT Contractor shall provide all necessary labor and materials for the above project in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. The work will be performed in Saint Albans, Extended Care Center located at 179th Street and Linden Blvd. Queens NY. Work includes but not limited to the following... Provide all necessary wiring, equipments, manpower, tools, etc. as required to replace existing automatic transfer switches without negatively impacting the operations of the Extended Care Center's Patients, Staffs & Visitors in all buildings. Install new conduits, wiring, circuit panels, electrical risers, and etc. as required for the expansion/separation of existing emergency power and installation of new Automatic Transfer Switches. All work shall be performed in close coordination with building engineers. Contractor will be required to perform a portion of their work during after-hours or on weekends only. All asbestos abatement work will be performed during after-hours and/or weekends. All installation work shall comply with the National Electric Code, Uniform Building Code, National Fire Protection Code and Occupational, Safety, Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Visits to the site by Bidders may be made only by appointment with the Medical Center Engineering Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, with a size standard of 12.0 Million. Estimated construction amount is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Invitation For Bids (IFB) including drawings, amendments, etc, (if applicable) will be available only through the internet website Fedbizopps.gov. Potential Offeror's will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the IFB and amendments (if any). It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The IFB will be posted on or about August 19, 2003. Hubzone Businesses are encouraged to submit an offer.
