- TOOL BOX, Mftr. Snap-On, Item number 9400GSBO, 10 EA. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) # F38601-03-Q-3021. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421120, and size standard 100 employees. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the business? name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items (Price and Delivery); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the quotation, which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price and delivery time. Note: Vendors be advised funds are not currently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this request for quote is contingent upon the availability of funds. All offers are due no later than 27 Aug 2003 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. All quotes must remain valid through midnight, 30 Sep 2003.
