- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work to provide 2 permanent basketball goals complete with 2 new backstops, 2 new backboards, 2 rear folding supports, 2 auto locks, 2 height adjusters, 2 electric winches, and all electrical work required to connect the winches in Bldg 340 on Goodfellow AFB, Texas. NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990 and the size standard is $12 million. This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Emerging Small Business Concerns. The magnitude of this project is under $25,000. Performance time shall not exceed 60 days. All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered. The anticipated proposal due date is 5 September 03 by 1630hrs CST. All requests for clarification relating to this RFQ must be brought to the attention of the contract specialist, TSgt Todd Raines at (915) 654-3800 or SSgt Daniel Newell at (915) 654-5805 or faxed to (915)-654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The anticipated date for a site visit is 29 Aug 03 at 10:00 AM in building 707, 17th Contracting Squadron. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order that will be awarded as a result of the quotations to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price giving a slightly higher preference to past performance. This solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website on or about 22 August 2003. Interested parties should subscribe to receive procurement announcement related to this solicitation by entering the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and go to the notification Service area to register. Quotes may be faxed to the number above, or mailed, **Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
