Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arizona Strip Field Office is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to apply a 3/8" nominal size aggregate double chip seal, 1/2" thick to approx. 3/10 mile of existing asphalt surface at the Virgin River Campground, located approx. 18 miles southeast of St. George, UT in Arizona. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237310 with a small business size standard of $28.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is being solicited and will be awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656 and therefore is open to both small and large businesses. The period of performance is approximately 45 days from contract award. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) with drawings, specifications, and wage rates will be posted on/about August 29, 2003 on http://ideasec.nbc.gov with quotations due within 14 days of issuance. To request a hard copy send a fax on company letterhead to 602.417.9462. You are encouraged to submit quotes electronically; however, the Offerors Representations and Certifications (Section K) must be completed, submitted separately, and received by closing date & time. In order to receive an award from BLM, vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) @ http://www.ccr.gov/.
