- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q5140030101 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. This purchase is a small business set-aside and the North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333618 and small business size standard is 1000 employees. The National Park Service is soliciting quotations for Line Item No. 0001, to supply an articulated, self-propelled, 4 x 4, 45 foot boom lift, powered by a dual gas/propane internal combustion engine to FOB destination Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 382, Buncombe County, NC 28805. The boom lift must be equivalent to the Genie Model Z-45/25RT, 4x4, dual fuel, alarm package, oscillating axle. Delivery date is approximately November 1, 2003 and is negotiable. The FAR provisions at 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items) and 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. The FAR clauses at 52.211-06 (Brand name or equal), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items) including FAR clauses 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, and 52.232-34 cited in FAR 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition.
