- Description
- General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is looking for HUBZone-certified construction firms having the capability and interest in performing the work described below. A solicitation is not being issued at this time, as the Government is conducting market research to locate interested, qualified HUBZone contractors. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with NPS/DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Response to this notice must be received timely to be considered. Title of Project: Construct Shuttle Transfer Facilities Description: The work of this contract consists of the construction of a shuttle transfer open air structure, vault toilet, 2 bridges and abutments, bus drop-off area, 70-vehicle visitor parking and road development, electrical and telephone utilities, site improvements including concrete walks, lighting, site furniture, and revegetation at Netul Landing, located approximately 1.3 miles south of the existing Visitor Center along the Fort Clatsop Road. Type of Procurement: A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. Interested contractors must provide a letter from their bonding company verifying the contractor's current bonding capacity. This letter must verify a minimum bonding capability of $2,000,000.00. This should consider all current construction jobs under contract as well as known future jobs. Interested contractors shall submit a technical resume outlining their company's qualifications as relevant to the above-mentioned project.
