- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) The solicitation number is F23MS4318201 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (ii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. (iii) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 333415 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. (iv) This requirement consists of 2 line items. (v) Line Item 0001: (2) IR model UP6-20-150 packaged air compressor, 20 HP 208/3/60 electrics- 150psi; (1) IR 400 Gallon Vertical air tank – 200psi ASME stamped, this tank is complete with Drain-all 1700 auto drain, safety valve, and pressure switch; (1) IR Pyramid HP75 refrigerated compressed air purifier, electrical is 115-1-60. This purifier is complete with carbon monoxide monitor and alarm built on the package. (1) IR oil/water condensate separator model ECS 12. All freight charges included, full startup and maintenance school included. Line Item 0002: Installation consists of setting in, pipe in, and doing all electrical hook up. A site visit will be coordinated as needed. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this solicitation. (vii) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: “Price”. The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. (viii) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http://www.arnet.gov/far. (ix) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government (x) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 is considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (21) and (24). (xi) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr2000.com. (xii) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition. (xiii) Commerce Business Daily numbered note 1 applies to this acquisition. (xiv) The solicitation due date is 1 October 2003, 1600 EST. (xv) The assigned Contracting Specialist is A1C Edgar E. Luna Sosa. A1C.
