Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of a gun safe and gun cases. Requirement is as follows: ITEM 1---Gun Safe. Model: CH-50 (Mfr-Champion) Dimensions: 41”W x 72 ˝” H x 28” D; Outer shell thickness: 10 gauge; body thickness: 1 3/8”; composite door: 4” thick; Internal, Ball bearing hinges; sargent and greenleaf combination lock; auto relock system; Qty of 16 one inch, chrome plated door bolts; chrome plated 3 spoke handle; UL security rating; lifetime warranty; Interior: Velour; Class II fire protection with 1300 degree one-hour rating; Weight: 1210 lbs. (QUANTITY of 1) / ITEM 2----Travel vault pistol case Model 4215 (Mfr Browning) color: Black; outer dimension: 13 ˝” L x 12 7/8” W x 6” D. Inner Dimension: 12 Ľ” L x 9 Ľ” W x 5 Ľ” D; Material: hard heavy duty plastic; pick and pluck foam insert for customizing interior. (QUANTITY of 1) / ITEM 3---- Travel Vault Rifle Case. Model 5115; (MFR- Browning) color: Black; Outer Dimension: 50 ľ” L x 13 ˝” W x 5” D; material: Hard Heavy Duty plastic; Rollaway wheels and folding trunk handle. (QUANTITY of 1). All items may be quoted on an “Or Equal” basis. Offeror must provide warranty information on equipment. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332510; size standard of 500 employees. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include with their quotation a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (July 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written (paper/hard copy) solicitation will not be issued.
