This system shall include, but not be limited to, and meet or exceed the following performance characteristics, features, and pertain to the following components: (1) shall provide spectral separation of significantly overlapping flurochromes using emission fingerprinting techniquest (FITC and Sytox Green); (2) shall be able to separate up to eight excitation dyes at one time; (3) shall provide seven excitation lines of 405, 458, 477, 488, 514, 543 and 633 nanometers; (4) shall be capable of collection of images at extremely high rates up to 2600 lines per second; (5) high speed physiology, FRAP (fluorenscence recovery after photobleaching) and FLIP (fluorescense loss in photobleaching) shall all be supported on this platform; (6) the system shall collect UV and VIS light simultaneously with good color correction using a collimating programmed for different objective; (7) shall include two detectors in addition to the spectral detector for high speed single photon microscopy; (8) pinholes for each detector shall allow for balance of slice thickness for different wavelengths; (9) shall provide rotation of scan to any angle within 360 degrees with no loss of speed in collection; (10) shall provide up to 2,000 by 2,000 by 12 bit imaging; (11) shall provide bean blanking on fly back (no laser exposure except during collection of data; (12) shall have a REUSE button allowing system conditions to be restored from a previously collected image with a single key stroke; (13) shall have instant Spectral curve generation using Lamda stack through easy Region of Interest selection; (14) shall provide Lamda stack acquisition of the whole emission spectrum with no signal restriction as opposed to imaging using band passes; (15) the Lamda stack acquisition shall provide user definable wavelength range and have fast, electronic selection of detector elements (no moving parts). Concerns that respond to this synopsis shall furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above and are invited to submit capability statements in an ORIGINAL PLUS TWO (2) no later than fifteen (15) business days from the date of this announcement.
