Description
This project, estimated to begin May 2004, includes but is not limite= d to the following: 1. Provide 40' of new Glide Slope (GS) tower (2-20') an= d transport 1-5'section from JFK Airport to Morristown Airport. 2. Install= piles and concrete foundations for the new 8' x12' prefabricated shelter a= nd 45' tower/ 3/ Install shelter on new concrete piers. 4. Assemble and ins= tall the 45' tower with new hardware, right climbing rail, lightning protec= tion and obstruction light on new foundation. 5. Install new power and RF c= onduits and cable in RGSC to new shelter and tower. 6. Install and test gro= unding system outside and inside shelter. 7. Remove and dispose of the exis= ting shelter and glide slope tower. 8. Remove existing foundations to 1 foo= t below grade, fill to match existing grade and seed disturbed areas. PR= OSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO FAX OVER A REQUEST FOR THE SCREENING INF= ORMATION REQUEST (SIR)to Maria Gallo at 718-995-5685. There is a limit of = five (5) copies of the SIR available. Requests received after the limit has= been reached will not receive a response from the Government, however, an = announcement will be made naming the five (5) companies who have been sent = the SIR. Requests for the SIR will be controlled based upon the time and da= te as it appears on the faxed request. Estimated cost of this project is b= etween $100,000 - $150,000. This is a Best Value Procuement. Evaluation wi= ll rely heavily on Past Performance, Technical Experience/Financial Capabil= ity and Cost.The FAA has received requests from the following: Railroad Con= st., Paterson, N J.;Midwest Underground Tech.
