- NA This is a notice of intent to procure a single source contract with SmartFix Corporation, 4458 Perkins Circle, Belcamp, MD 21017-1428, to provide on site training for AGT-1500 Gas Turbine Engine Diagnostic Training at Ft Riley, Kansas. The contract will b e awarded pursuant to FAR 6.301(a) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. We are procuring 2 10 day training periods during the Month of September 2003 for 10 students each training period. The trainer MUST pro vide an on-site AGT 1500 Gas Turbine Gas Engine Simulator to train on. The AGT-1500 Gas Turbine Engine, Advanced Diagnostics Course that is being provided is a comprehensive, two week course of instruction that teaches students how to troubleshoot the eng ine based on an in-depth understanding of engine operation from the perspective of the Fuel Management System. The course is presented through a series of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises that provides the students the opportunity to parti cipate in live engine, hands-on exercises to diagnose faults, perform adjustments, and analyze performance. If someone other than SmartFix believes they have the capability to provide this training they must provide, in writing, specific qualifications, t o include prior contracts and prior performance information.
