Description
(THIS MARKET SURVEY IS IN REFERENCE TO SOLICITATION NUMBER DAAE30-03-R-0338. THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER REPLACES SOLICITATION NUMBER DAAE30-03-R-0338). The Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems is seeking companies with technical expertise and experience in the production of 120mm, 81mm and 60mm polyethylene-laminated Fiber Tubes for mortar ammunition. Manufacturing of these packaging containers requires an extensive background in the production of spirally wound fiber ammunition tubes; a facility equipped to support high quantity production of various diameter containers; technical expertise to sustain quality throughout all phases of process; experience in the presentation of data deliverables required for government contracts; and an established internal quality control system that is ISO 9002 compliant. A quality system that is equivalent to or better than ISO 9002 is acceptable. All responding sources shall provide a summary of their company?s capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, capabilities, a description of facilities/equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability, personnel, past experience, and current production capacity per month and whether the company is a small or large business. All responding sources must submit their responses no later than 5 September 2003 to U.S. Army ARDEC, ATTN: AMSTA-AR-WEP, Jack Lam, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.
