Description
Amendment 0001 to the Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (AT/FP) Capability Sets Synopsis/Solicitation changes this acquisition to a Small Business Set-Aside, provides a closing date & time for the submission of any questions, provides a hyperlink to the Marine Corps Systems Command AT/FP website and lists applicable Contract Terms and Conditions for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 52.212-5 and DFARS 252.212-7001. a. This acquisition is changed from an unrestricted, free and open, competitive acquisition to a Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. b. Offerors should read the terms and conditions of this synopsis/solicitation carefully and refer any questions in writing to the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) by 1:00 PM EDT 2 September 2003. c. All future information relative to this procurement, including all documentation such as the Statement of Work, responses to questions received by 2 September 2003 and attachments, will be available to industry through the Marine Corps Systems Command?s AT/FP hyperlink: "http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/sites/ctq/atfp.asp" d. The clauses at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The following clauses are applicable under 52.212-5, paragraph (b), 52.203-6, 52.219-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-9, 52.219-14, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 52.247-64. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The following clauses are applicable under 252.212-7001: 52.203-3, 252.205-7000, 252.219-7003, 252.225-7001, 252-225-7012, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7002 and 252.247-7023.
