- The U S Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coule= e WA, has a requirement for the manufacturing of 400 fixtures, lamp assembl= y, single fluorescent, wet location T5/HO luminaire. Delivery location is = U S Bureau of Reclamation, WHSE B, Door 6, Ind. Area, Grand Coulee WA 99133= . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared i= n accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6, as supplemented with addi= tional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes = the solicitation. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being issued as 03SQ1= 71572 and quotes (including product specification literature and completed = 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) are d= ue September 4, 2003. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect= through FAC 2001-15. Clause 52.219-6 Dated June 2003 Notice of Total Smal= l Business Set-Aside applies to this procurement. The Government anticipat= es award of a firm-fixed price resulting from this RFQ on or about Septembe= r 12, 2003. CLIN 0001: fixture, fluorescent, single, lamp assembly, wet location = T5HO luminaire. Assembly includes lamp and ballast. Housing: Fixture to b= e 4.00 inches wide x 4.125 inches high x 51.25 inches long. Housing to be= one piece compression molded unsaturated polyester/fiberglass housing with= 8 three-piece polycarbonate latches, with a seamless bonded neoprene gaske= t. Ballast/component tray should attach to body of fixture with pinch-rele= ase clips and suspend from housing during servicing. 1/2 inch conduit entry= hole at each end of housing with weather tight plugs, fixture weight shoul= d be between 4-5 pounds. Electrical: Ballast are to be CBM Certified HPF = electronic programmed start, 0.99 power factor, less than 10 percent THD, U= L/CSA listed, type 1, class P, 105V-305V multi-voltage, 50/60Hz. Lamp hold= ers are to be a positive lock, captive rotor type, UL listed. Lamps are to= be 85 CRI with 0.95 lumen maintenance over life, lamp wattage to be 54W hi= gh output (5,000 lumens), lamp color temp 5,100 K. Optics: To be a high r= eflectance component tray reflector. Impact-modified Lexan UV stabilized p= olycarbonate linear-ribbed lens with smooth exterior face for ease of clean= ing. Nominal 10 percent uptight component. Mounting: Fixture to be provi= ded with pair of quick clip snap on full-hard stainless steel mounting clip= s that will accept chain or =BC inch threaded rod, as well as allow surface= mounting without violating watertight integrity. Clip should install and = positively lock with tools and have a withstand rating in excess of 10 time= s the luminaire weight. The Light Edge Inc. Model No. MON1-54-41-MV-MB1 or= equal. Quantity: 400 each assembly. WARRANTY period shall be no less tha= n one year from date of Acceptance by the Government. DELIVERY DATE: Requ= ested delivery FOB Destination, September 30, 2003.
