Description: This project consists of the thinning of pine plantations and whole tree removal of conifers to landings on approximately 300 acres. Required contractor equipment: harvester, skidder, and loader. The desired end result is to reduce ladder fuels. Estimated start work date September 30, 2003, contract time 165 days.
