Description

PROPOSED SYNOPSIS Title: AE7800 RECORDER Client: AFTAC THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The required service is to provide an AE7800 recorder, IF/Tape converter, NT server, time code reader/generator, video switch, monitor and keyboard. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Avalon Data Collection Systems. Avalon Data Collection Systems is the only source for their equipment, as they only sell direct and not through any type of retail store. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0305 is issued for informational purposes only. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3828, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334513. Sources who feel they are capable of performing this effort will have to provide evidence of technical capability. Once technical capability is established by the end user, the source may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation will be posted electronically, but this office will provide a copy to any firm requesting one. Anticipated award date will be on or around 26 Aug 03. Point of contact is 2Lt.
