Description

NA Work consists of increasing existing tower height for trunked radios from 160 feet to 220 feet. Installation of two Government-Furnished antennas at a temporary height of approximately 100 feet for the transmit side and 80 feet for the receive side for in terim operation while installation of the tower extension is performed. Upon completion of the extension, new Government-Furnished antennas shall be permanent installed (transmit mounted at approximately 210 feet and receive mounted at approximately 190 f eet level). The temporary antennas shall then be permanently installed at 160 feet transmit and 140 feet receive using existing 7/8 inch coaxial antenna cable. Contractor shall provide tower extension, coaxial cable, permanent mounting arms, bracket, and hardware. Work (involving the disruption of trunked radio traffic) must be performed during non-duty hours/weekends and/or coordinated military days of no scheduled activities to minimize mission impact. Resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The period of performance is 90 calendar days. The estimated range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ??????Small Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988?????? and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, NAICS Code is 237130 for this acquisition and the average annual receipts of concern and its a ffiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $28.5 million.
