Description

NA USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires the service to (1) design and conduct laboratory tests for chemical release and longevity of snake repellents; (2) manufacture sufficient quantities of chemical prototypes for testing and evaluation; and (3) assist with field trials of non-toxic repellents specific to endemic snakes at Fort Hood, Texas. The period of service will be no later than 30 September 2004. This proposed procurement will be issued on a sole-source basis. The Cont racts Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price order with Bioguard Research and Development Inc due to original patents and pending patents. Request for DACA42-03-T-0181 will be issued on or about 8 September 2003 with a closing date of 19 September 2003.
