Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Waimanalo, HI, has a requirement for Specialized Prototype Temperature Controlled Water Bath for the Hawaii Fruit Fly Production Facility (HFFPF) which provides sterile Mediterranean fruit fly (medfly) to Preventative Release Programs in California and Florida that use the Sterile Insect Technique (SIT). Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquistion regulations per FAR Part 12. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solcitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Contract; delivery shall be made to address designated in solicitation. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under the NAICS 339999.
