Description

The issuance of the solicitation is being delayed until 29 August or later. The closing date for proposals will be adjusted to reflect the delay. This action is a Small Business set-aside. Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) services at U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Oakland, Oakland, CA. The successful offeror will provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the performance of CAD services at CEU Oakland. The period of performance is planned for 01 January 2004 through 31 December 2004, with four (4) one year option periods from 01 January 2005 through 31 December 2008. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 August 2003, with a planned closing date of 30 September 2003. The CAD services will be acquired under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5., Test Program for Certain Commercial Items which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Subpart 12 in certain acquisitions that exceed the normal simplified acquisition threshold. A site visit is planned. More definite information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued via the electronic Posting system at www.eps.gov under Vendor, DOT, United States Coast Guard, Commanding Officer USCG Civil Engineering Unit Oakland, Oakland, CA. Telephone, written, and E-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. The NAICS code is 541340 with a size standard of $6.0 million. Notice: This action is a 100 percent set-aside for Small Business concerns.
