Description

ISSUE DATE: 09/08/03. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Bulkhead Replacement at the USCG Academy, New London, CT (New London County). Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing slab on grade, tops of cresote treated timber piles, and stone rip rap (to facilitate pile driving). Installation of new steel sheet piling, concrete slab on grade, soil anchors and incidental appurtenances. Relocation/Installation of utility conduits. Final clean up. Incidental related work. Estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 dollars. NAICS code is 237990. Tentative evaluation criteria to consist of the following: Price, Past Performance on marine contracts, schedule and personnel qualifications. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 09/08/03. The due date for receipt of proposals is on or about 10/08/03 at 4:00 pm local time. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings and amendments may be accessed for download for free beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov.
