Description
Wackenhut Services, Inc. (WSI) has a requirement to provide translation of course materials for a variety of classes. The course material needs to be translated from English to the language spoken by the delegates attending the training. The translated material shall include large MS-Word documents, PowerPoint slides and delegate handouts, such as schedules and assignments. The translated course material will be utilized as participant guuides for the delegates. The documents shall be designed for a simultaneous translation classroom environment. All material will be provided by WSI to the subcontractor in English via file transfer protocol (FTP). Each course has its own vocabulary and terminology requirements as follows: Emergency Medical Interventions for Mass Casualites (EMIMCS) Knowlege of medical anatomy and physiology, first aid, incident command and control, nuclear, biological and chemical warfare agents and effects, triage technicques and personal protective equipment Terrorism Investigation Course (TIC) Knowledge of both physical surveillance and basic photography, criminalistics, information management and analysis, interviewing and interrogation Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Knowledge of weapons of mass destruction, first aid, incident command and control, personal protective equipment, detection equipment, and decontamination Instructor Development Course (IDC) Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, scanning devices, digital cameras, personal computer operations, internet exploere, education training and development, anti-terrorism subject matter VIP Protection Course (VIP) Knowledge of VIP protective services, motorcade operations, self-defense techniques, perimeter surveillance and security, command post operations, improvised explosive devices, and advance site evaluation Vital Installation Security (VIS) Knowledge of intrusion/detection systems and closed cirsuit television systems, critical incident command processes, and improvised explosive devices Officer Survival Training (OST) Knowledge of police procedures, Live Fire Range operations, defensive tactics, and use of force issues.
