Description

Description: RF Generators, per below purchase description, 7 EA. Please quote FOB Destination pricing. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject Solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (offeror representations and certifications, commercial items), 52.212-4 (contract terms and conditions, commercial items), and 52.212-5 (contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders, commercial items). In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors. Oral procedures will be used for this Solicitation. This requirement is Sole Source to: Anritsu, Richardson TX. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-7549 or e-mailed to Michael S. Moore. The anticipated award date will be 06 Sep 03. Description of requirement: The required item is a synthesized RF generator with pulse and scan modulation capabilities, that must meet specific technical specifications in order to be compatible with existing equipment. This test equipment will be a replacement for existing equipment which is a component of the Integrated Support Stations (ISS) which is used to modify and test software for the Radar Warning Receiver (RWR). The requirement is to provide seven (7) RF generators, each of which consists of the following eight (8) Item Nos. with corresponding Item Description: Item No. MG3692A/Synthesized CW Generator, 2 to 20 GHz, Item No. MG3690A-1B/Option 1B, Rack Mount kit without slides (shelf mount), Item MG3690A-2A/Option 2A, Mechanical Step Attenuator, 110 dB for MG3691A or MG3692A, Item No. MG3690A-5/Option 5, RF Coverage 0.01 to 2 GHz, with an analog down converter, Item MG3690A-9K/Option 9K, Rear Panel RF Output, Item No. MG3690A-13A/Option 13A, Pulse Modulation External for models up to and including 40 GHz, Item No. MG3690A-20/Option 20, Scan Modulation, and Item No. 34RKNF50/Precision Ruggedized Adapter, K(m)-N(f), DC to 20 GHz, 50 Ohms.
