Description

NA Work consists of dredging, transporting, placing and shaping beach fill to restore eroded beach berm and dune, and performing all beach surveys in connection therewith. Material for Carolina Beach will be dredged from nearby Carolina Beach Inlet. Materia l for Kure Beach will be dredged from an offshore borrow area. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Plans & specifications will be issued on CD-ROM ONLY, on or about 25 September 2003 with bid opening 30 days after solicitation is issued. CD-ROM will be FREE OF CHARGE and should not be returned. Amendments will be made through either diskette, CD-ROM, or printed paper copy. All Bid Forms, Bid Bond, and any other document required for bid submittal SHALL BE IN PAPER MEDIUM. E lectronic medium for bid submittal SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED.
