- NA The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is issuing a solicitation to provide support services to the Hui Director and Program Manager (PM) and Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) by providing a Pediatric Echocardiograph Technician for Pediatric Echocardiography and administrative support services for the Peds Card Project at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. The responsibilities of the Pediatric Echocardiograph Technician include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) Coordinat e work performance closely with TAMC Department of Pediatrics personnel; 2) Performs echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures; 3) Digitizes echocardiograms for storage and digital transferring purposes; 4) Cataloging digital echocardiograms; 5) Upload digital echocardiogram and other patient information to a telemedicine consultation website; 6) Train other users at TAMC and remote institutions on using telemedicine consultation website; 7) Provides preliminary diagnostic eval uation and notifies cardiologists of results of examinations; 8) Consults with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements; 9) Assist with administrative and other duties as assigned in the department of Pediatric Echocardiology; and 10) Other clinical and administrative duties, that relate to the project, as per Principal Investigator and Pacific Telehealth and Technology Hui Project Manager. The contract will be firm fixed-p rice labor rates with total hours not to exceed 1040 hours for each performance period. There will be a base performance period of one year with two one-year option periods.
