- Description
- NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Injection molded 1 - 3 piezocomposite transducer elements. 1 - 3 piezocomposite wedge, 12" x 12" (Qty. 1); 1 -3 piezocomposite 1.10" x 6" (Qty. 1 lot of 24 ea.) and 1-3 piezocomposite 1.10" x 4" (Qty. 1 lot of 48 ea.). It is expected to place a purchase order with Material Systems, Inc. They are the only known source for these items because they are the only manufacturer of injection molded 1 - 3 piezocomposite material. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Award will be made to the responsible offeror proposing the lowest price for the supplies meeting the requirements of the solicitation, which will be issued on approximately 08/29/2003. Required delivery is 6 wks. after date of award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms.
