Description: This project includes replacement of an existing water system including, but not limited to the following: 1)waterlines from existing will and pumphouse, 2) well pump, pitless units, and pump house connections, 3) wild fire fighting pump and hydrant system, and 4) water drains, valves, hydrant/fountains and all other appurtenances for a complete project/system as defined by the contract. The government's estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. An organized site visit is scheduled for May 13, 2003, 10:00am CST, at the project site. Camp Nesbit is located approximately 7 miles south of Sidnaw, MI. From the intersection of South Sidnaw Road and State Hwy M-28, travel approximately 5-3/4 miles south along South Sidnaw Road to Forest Road 2400 (aka Norway Lake Road). Travel East on FR2400 approximately 1-3/4 miles to FR 2493 (aka the entrance road to Camp Nesbit). Travel Southwest on FR2493 approximately 1/2 mile. Camp Nesbit is located in Iron County, Michigan, Bates Township, T46N, R35W, Section 4. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-APR-2003).
