- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations necessary in connection with Project FBNV 000011, entitled "Maintain Runway, Rubber Removal" on Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. The subsequent award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of 16 days from issuance of notice to proceed. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, provide paint striping for the airfield and base streets, remove paint striping from airfield and street concrete pavements, and remove rubber deposits from airfield concrete pavements, Davis Monthan AFB, AZ. The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is un-restricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 234110. The Request for Proposal will be issued in a commercial format using Past Performance Trade Off evaluation procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 13 May 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 13 June 2003. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents. The following viewers may be required to view the complete solicitation: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf), WinZip (.zip or.exe), and AutoCAD. For more information concerning these viewers, refer to the EPS website. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to complete, so we recommend immediate attention to ensure eligibility. For registration, go to http://www.ccr2000.com and follow the instructions. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be held on or about 27 May 2003 at 9:00 am local time in the 355th Contracting Squadron office conference room.
