Description

The District of South Carolina, U.S. Marshals Service plans to procure legal advertising of seized/forfeited property from The State Newspaper, P.O. Box 133, Columbia, S.C. 29202. The requirement consists of the largest circulated newspaper in the State of South Carolina that is distributed throughout the entire State of South Carolina. The State Newspaper is the only party known to the District of South Carolina that can meet the above requirement. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes it can mmet the requirements it may submit a statement of capabilities. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Marshals Service to determine if the party can meet the requirements. Offers must also be accompanied by descriptive literature, warranties and/or other information that demonstrates the offer meets all the above requirements. Capability statements and related materials must be received in this office by September 5, 2003 at 5:00pm. If you have any questions, please contact Carol Gainey by FAX at (803) 765-5824. Collect calls will not be accepted. The determination to compete or not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
