- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, and equipment needed to remove and dispose of existing carpet and base, and installation of new carpet and base in locations and quantities as listed. Include freight charges. Building 1118 - Carpet, Mftr. Porter, Style/Part#Casino, Qty 365 sq yd. Cove Base, Mftr. Roppe, Style/Part#700 or equal, Qty. 720 lin ft, Labor to move modular furniture. Building 212/213 - Carpet Mftr.Richmond, Style/Part#Graffitti, 275 sq yds, Cove Base, Mftr Roppe, Style/Part# 4 inch or equal, Qty 600 lin ft. (furniture to be removed by customer). Building 1109 - Carpet Mftr. Porter, Style/Part#Casino, Qty 455 sq yd, Cove Base, Mftr. Roppe, Style/Part#4 inch or equal, Qty 720 lin ft, labor to move modular furniture. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) # F38601-03-QS218. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 442210. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the business’ name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items (Price and Delivery); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the quotation, which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price, quality and delivery time.
