Description: * * * SOLE SOURCE NOTICE * * * THIS SYNOPSIS IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY * * * A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE * * * The Government intends to award on a sole source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), a purchase order to BANCTEC Inc, for continued support of scanner equipment. The selection of this contractor is based on the uniqueness of the requirement. The scanning systems and associated equipment are manufactured by TDC/BANCTEC. Due to the specific configuration of the systems/peripheral devices and proprietary rights, only the Original Equipment Manufacturer can responsibly maintain the equipment.
