Description
Statement of Work: Vendor is to provide the services of de-fueling/re-fueling (Coast Guard Unit Owned Fuel) for aircraft at U.S. Coast Guard Station Sacramento, McClellan, CA. Services are required to be available 24hrs a day, 7 days/week to the Coast Guard Unit. 1.) The task of de-fueling aircraft as performed by the vendor is as follows: a. A de-fueling truck is dispatched from the vendors location, and arrives at the aircraft that is to be de-fueled located at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Sacramento, McClellan, CA. b. A USCG Crew member will be stationed on the flight deck to run the fuel pump, which moves the fuel out of the aircraft and into the truck. Another crew member is stationed at the SPR panel, opening and closing the fuel tank cross feed valves. There will be a crew member assigned to stand watch with a fire bottle. c. The vendor provides the truck to pump the fuel into hoses needed to move the fuel from out of the aircraft. Work on the aircraft is then performed. Once work has been completed the vendor will then return to the station and re-fuel the aircraft. This task is accomplished as follows: a. A truck is dispatched from the vendor laden with aircraft fuel. b. A USCG crew member will be sationed at the SPR panel to open and close fuel feed valves. There is also a crew mwmber responsible for manning a fire extinguisher. c. The vendor provides the truck, fuel and hoses required to re-fuel the aircraft.
