Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZONE Small Business Firms capable of installation of approximately 34,050 lineal feet of submarine power cable from the landslide transformer at Fortescue, New Jersey to Elbow of Cross Ledge Light located in the Delaware Bay. The new cable to be installed will be Coast Guard provided Type 203, 5000 volt, 4-conductor #8 AWG, armored and weighing 1.6 pounds per foot. The cable will be supplied in 5000 foot reels. The NAICS Code is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $28.5. The estimate range of this acquisition is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than 2 September 2003. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at: aoverholt@ceucleveland.uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Resposes shall include the following information: Company Name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size, disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZONE status.
