Description

The following corrections are made to Solicitation GS-04P-03-LCD-0042-01: Issue Date: 9/5/03 Date for Receipt of Proposals: 10/7/03 Contracts are 100% Small Business Set-Aside NAICS: 233320 Construction Services for various Repair and Alteration projects in the Tampa and Miami areas. A minimum of four (4) contracts will be awarded. Performance period will be for one (1) year with four (4) one year options. Minimum order is $200,000. Maximum order is $1,500,000. Payment/Performance Bonds will be required. Source Selection, using "best value" procedures will be used. Best value allows the Government to award to other than the lowest priced offeror or other than the highest technically rated offeror. For this procurement, technical quality is significantly mor important than cost or price. When technical proosals are evaluated as esentially equal, cost or price may be the deciding factor. The elements that make up the technical evaluation factor, in order of importance, are: (1) Experience on similar projects (2) Past performance on similar projects (3) Management plan (4) Experience of key personnel. Evaluation of he price proposal will be based on the realism and reasonableness of the proposed price.
