- The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intends to negotiate on a noncompetitive basis with Invitrogen Corp, provide the items identified below to be delivered on an as needed basis period of twelve (12) months. Product #LC2000, Nitrocellulose Membrane 40 each; 8. Product #LC2677 TRIS GLY, SDS Buffer, 50 each; 9. Product #LC3675 TRISGLY, TRANS Buffer, 50 each;10. Product #LC5925, SeeBlue Plus 2, 20 each; 11. The Gels are to support an on going experiment being conducting on the Characterization of Phosphodiesterases. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirement of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 6, Competition Requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable to this requirement is 421450, and Size Standard is 100. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement.
