Description

The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified organization to provide the services a Inmate Legal Assistance Program to the female inmate population. The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced requirements contract to the responsive and responsible contractor meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work, from date of award through September 30, 2004. The contractor shall provide an estimated 44 sessions per year, a sessions is defined as eight(8)hours in duration. The contractor has the option to provide the services via electronic media, at their expense. The contractor shall incur all costs associated with the installation of the telecommunication line and any additonal equipment required to operate via electronic media, including any disconnecting fees. Legal assistance may cover a wide range of civil matters including; family law, wills, trusts, property rights and post-conviction issues. This solicitation will be available on or about September 9, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site @http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. The estimated date for receipt of offers is September 22, 2003.
