Description

NA This requirement is for two each Computer Numerically Grinding Machines, Dual Wheel Head, Internal/External, Chucking Type located at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. The grinding machines shall be designed, fabricated, and installed by the supplie r with all functions, capabilities and equipment as described in the completed copy of the specification. The contractor shall provide the resources necessary to design, manufacture, install, level and align two each Computer Numerically Grinding Machines . The grinding machines covered under the specification shall have computer numerically controlled axes. The grinding machines shall be one of the two following configurations: Type 1. Table mounted, non-indexing work head, traversing and interpolating in X and Z axes. Non-indexing internal wheel head, table mounted, traversing and interpolating in X and Z axes. Type 2. Non-indexing work head, table or guide way mounted. Indexing, multiple spindle wheel head, traversing and interpolating in X and Z axes. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED and Subject to Availability of Funds. The Government intends to perform a Best Value/Trade Off Acquisition. Final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, and past performance. Completion time i s 270 calendar days after date of contract award. North American Industrial Classification System is 333512. Size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), theref ore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet https://www.anadprocnet.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 18 S ep 03. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interest ed parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may rende r your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of same. All unrestricted sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
