ORIGINAL NOTICE PUBLISHED 13 AUGUST 2003. AMENDMENT 0001 ? N00421-03-T-0218 RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS UNDER N00421-03-T-0218 The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions and to extend the date for receipt of proposals. EXTENSION FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: The date for receipt of proposals is hereby extended to 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on September 5, 2003 (from August 28, 2003). QUESTION: The RFP refers to a Senior Functional Specialist and a Technical Associate in support of NAWCAD business development. Request a description of the labor categories.? ANSWER: The requirement is stated in terms of a performance-based statement of work, where the Government defines ?what? and the offeror proposes ?how.? The required tasks have been defined in the Statement of Work. The labor categories necessary to accomplish them are to be proposed based on the expertise of the offeror in providing these types of services. Thus, the only information provided by the Government is in the form of its rough estimate of the number of hours and the labor categories it used to develop them. Offerors may propose appropriate labor categories based on their experience that appear on their GSA schedule under the identified SIN.
