Description
This solicitation replaces F22600-03-R-0025A which has been cancelled. Services, Non-personal. Provide all labor, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, andexpertise to provide independent HCV/HIV Nat, Initial and confirmatory, West Nile Virus, and Reference testing of blood specimens collected from donors of the Blood Bank Services, Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The requirement consists of testing approximately 400 specimens per month. The Keesler Blood Donor Center is responsible for the packaging of donor samples and arranging ground transportation to the contractor testing facility on the collection day. The contractor shall test the donor samples the day of receipt and shall send results by fax NLT 5:00 PM the day after collection. The requirement is UNRESTRICTED with a NAICS code of 612511 and a small business size standard of $11.5 million. The period of performance is a base period of 01 Oct 03 ? 30 Sep 04, plus 3 one-year option periods. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, professional standards of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and FDA guideline and regulations, and are subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The place of performance is unknown, however the Contracting Officer has requested wage determinations for Mobile AL and New Orleans LA as the most likely places of performance. Wage determinations for additional possible places of performancewill be requested if the request is received in writing (fax and email OK) prior to release of the solicitation on 5 Sep 03. All responsible sources may submit a quote and at least 2 references, which will be considered by this agency. This request for quote is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and award will be made in the form of a firm-fixed price requirements contract.
