Description

NA This posting constitutes the Department of the Army's (DA) notice of intent to award the right to purchase and/or manage an exclusive multi-year license to use the U.S. Army with Star design trademark and America's Army trademarks in association with compu ter games featuring the U.S. Army. This license may also include the right, on an exclusive or non-exclusive basis, to use the America's Army trademarks on other products. A requirement of this contract shall include the management of the production and distribution of approximately one new unique game title every 12 months, tracking of unit sales, payment to DA of such up-front royalties and additional royalties based on a percentage of revenue earned from the sales of all licensed products as are called for in the contract, and meeting DA quality standards. DA will participate in the development of the licensed game by providing the licensor with technical advice, expertise, and site visits. DA will also retain final approval authority of the content a nd appearance for all licensed product. This proposed requirement has an anticipated period of performance of base year with four or more option years. All responsible, interested sources are asked to submit their qualifications and capabilities in respo nse to this announcement prior to 15 September 2003 to Dale A.
