Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAVAIR AD) intends to issue a firm fixed price modification with SYNESIS7 for the continued effort of digitizing Level IV paper technical manuals for Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC). SYNESIS7 is currently under contract to develop a manufacturing process that combines a variety of software products and conversion methodologies to generate a Level IV Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) from paper technical manuals and utilize this process to manufacture Level IV IETMs for multiple aircraft platforms. The modification will increase the number of paper technical manuals to be converted into Level IV IETMs and add expertise in NAVAIR's data type definitions (DTD). This action will be negotiated on a sole source HUBZone basis with SYNESIS7. SYNESIS7 is the only known responsible HUBZone source that can provide the required products and services that meet NATEC?s need for an easy to use, time-efficient technical publications digitization process (See numbered note #22 and 27).
