- Description
- It is the intent of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to upgrade the government owned G. E. Vivid 7 Ultrasound System manufactured by G. E. Medical Systems, 3114 Grand View Blvd W521 Waukesha, WI., 53188. The purchase includes: (1) the complete upgrade to V7 Vantage Release BT03 from V7 BT01 or BT02 or to V7P BT03 from V&PBT02, catalog #H45531CA, quantity 1 each. Specifications: This catalog number provides a complete upgrade to the BT?03 Vantage Release. The upgrade is available for both Vivid 7 and Vivid 7 Pro systems. It includes both hardware and software. The hardware upgrade includes the new beamformer, the RFT, TX and RX boards. In addition there are software enhancements that are included in this upgrade. These improvements include support for new probes, updated report functionality that includes the Template designer, new revision of the vascular and shared service Measurement and Analysis package. Also include are improvements to the system?s data management. SmartStress is a BT?03 enhancement to the EchoStress option. ATO, ASO, automatic angle correction have been added to the system?s functionality. Tissue Synchronization Imaging is a new optional tissue Doppler display feature for the Vivid 7that is supported by the Vantage Release. (2) Software Upgrade EchoPac Pc BT02 to BTO3, catalog #H45521LP, quantity 1, (3) EchoPac PC TSI & Strain with Q Analysis, catalog #H4800k, quantity 1 each, (4) Vivid 7 Strain Imaging with Q Analysis, Includes TSI on V7 Vantage Release, catalog #H4800SE, quantity 1 each. Catalog numbers cited are G. E. Medical Systems catalog numbers. The acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)Code is 339112, size standard is 500 employee. There are no set aside restrictions for this acquisition. Interested parties capable of furnishing the government with products spcified in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a proposal to the below address. The proposal shall include the business size, itemized price, shipping cost if applicable, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUN?s) and descriptive literature of product quoted. The proposal must reference ?Solicitation Number NHLBI-PS-2003-124. Proposals are due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of the synopsis or September 11th, 2003, by 8:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which if timely receive, shall be considered by the agency.
